The Teen Vogue 'it girls' or should I say ladies. They sure know how to be stylish! Today I'm focusing on Taylor Tomasi (far right), she's the Teen Vogue accessories Director and she has incredible style.

BLOG STYLE LOVE

I can't believe how long it's been since Agathe left us, and she will never be replaced, but I have made some room in my fashion heart for Lisa from Lisa's place. I don't know how she manages to make such simple items look so amazing. Somebody once left me a comment asking why I didn't pose in my outfits like everyone else does, well that take confidence, patience (which I tend to have little of) and maybe a cute body like Lisa. Ah yes inspiration for hitting the gym and working out twice as hard today. Maybe I will someday, but not today.

Although she recently closed her site Fashion Disciple, I've been admiring this British bloggers style for the last year. It's so fun and well accessorized I wish I had her cool attitude to pull a look like this off.

Two of your favorite people, even though they are both crazy. I'm a firm believer that you have to be a little crazy in the head to be creative, I mean Vincent Van Gogh cut off his own ear right? I also think that Britney's crazy in the head album that came out last year called 'Blackout' was much better then this saner 'Circus' album. I've listened to all of Circus and there are probably 3 maybe 4 good songs, a lot of the songs on there just seem to run into each other if you know what I mean.

This is another old picture from maybe a year and half two years ago. I love how sometimes Mary-Kate surprises you now and then buy dressing up very much like Ashley.

The best part about growing old is that with every year you give less of a shit about people, society and what they think. I love how many of them put that extra effort into their look, reminds me so much of my grandmother.

My plaid obsession continues into the new year. I've never not liked plaid, I remember wanting a flannel shirt more then anything back in the 90s, but of course I never got it. I still can't believe that if you are born in 1990 you could be 19 now. I remember when they were only suppose to be like 6-7, how do the years fly by so quick? My sister born in 94 just turned 15! Ah well I'm proud to be an 80s child, it was such an interesting decade.

This is what happens when you have too many tights, everyday it was a fight and struggle to find something with no holes and that fit nicely etc so I decided to organize and tag everything, by fit, color, brand and overall look. I also tossed out a bunch of holey ones and separated the ones that can be repaired (clear nail polish).
The other day I went to American Apparel and spent 16$ on black tights because I wanted a good quality pair that was comfortable. The next day I wore them to work and about halfway through the day they already had a rip down the leg. Never again.

I've been working on putting up frames above our bed, I have loads more to add, but here are the beginnings. The pictures I took my self first one in Fiji than the next two are Venice beach in Los Angeles and the flower is in Fiji. The paintings I picked up at Urban Outfitters.


I also got myself a little something this week, an IPhone! I've been wanting one for ages, they only got released in Canada last July. I haven't had a new up to date phone in yearrrssss so I'm happy to be modernized again.

When I first saw this collection I loved the bright retro feel to it, but I was a bit confused as to how it would translate in real life. Well it certainly has taken me by surprise, especially the wrap dresses.

REASON #1654 why you should not trust magazines. That picture of Angelina in the blue dress dates as far back as 2003 and now she's on the cover of German Cosmo again for January 2009! That's crazy. I understand that Cosmo is in many countires and needs to recycle, but that's just taking it too far. That being said, I don't like cosmo, it's the same stuff in every issue you can talk about sex, how to stroke your boyfriends jewels, a sob story and the latest centerfolds so much. Marie Claire or Glamour is a much better alternative to Cosmo in my opinion.



In this one they photoshop the earrings and the dress to make it look like a "Fresh" cover.

I love Chloe Sevigny, I didn't realize I was going through withdrawals until I looked for some new pictures of her. She made it big when she was discovered on the streets of New York because of her fab style sense and well the rest is history. I've got to get my hands on those sunglasses, another celebrity wore them not long ago. Do we know their make?

My boyfriend and I are planning a trip to New York for a few days in Feb, hello Topshop! Everytime I've been to New York it's for a funeral or a wedding so it will be nice to do the tourist thing for once.

She did such a great job of making this Louis Vuitton outfit look absolutely fab.
Naomi hotting it up in the Maldives with her Russian billionaire. Oh I wish I was there right now, this cold weather is depressing me.

Lily seems to have found herself a new older man. I have to admit I have a thing for hot older men like George Clooney, Colin Firth, Richard Gere, Morgan Freeman, Harrison Ford, Steve Martin, Denzel Washington, Sean Connery, Anderson Cooper, Andrea Bocelli and even David Foster. I don't discriminate, I love all haha.

I'm glad she got rid of those extensions, I love this short shaggy cut that she got for her Nylon cover.

I'm really wanting a cut out swimsuit just like this for the summer coming up.

Solange's big sis Beyonce was also enjoying herself. That Beyonce sure loves going on boats and yachts.

The Hiltons are terrorizing Australia. Why is the Australian press so obsessed with has beens.

Speaking of Australia The Veronicas celebrated their birthday in style. I still don't like Jessica's hair, she's quite the eccentric one isn't she? Anyway congrats to the girls, they have a song on the Billboard charts called "Untouched" which as we all know can be difficult to achieve for bands outside of the US. Personally I prefer their first album, if you haven't heard it yet then download it, it's amazing.

Sadba is out doing what she does best.

Wow Pete cleans up well doesn't he? I still wish Ashlee was a redhead, it suited her so well. Maybe she wanted to be more natural for Bronx or something?

I really want tights like this, I was planning on stocking up on funky tights when I was at H & M in Montreal last month, but sadly that H & M didn't have sleepwear/lingerie department. (I didn't know that was possible)

I really like her leggings here, you can tell they are good quality.

Wow this is a very dark outfit for Katy, I'm so use to seeing her in bright bubbly colors. Dolce and Gabbana?

There's nothing good about this look, she looks orange, too blonde and that dress is ill fitting. I have this thing about your hair matching your skintone exactly it looks strange because I had it happen to me and it was not cute.

Jared Leto has a new piece. I really like her top, would be so great for the summer.

Beyonce rings in the New Year with Mariah. That dress Beyonce is wearing looks very similar to the Marc Jacobs resort one.

Dakota Fanning! God I feel old, because she's grown up so much. I really want that cropped jacket, I've gotta get my hands on something similar for the spring.

Those LV boots on Brandy are just too much...too much. I love her, but she can be such a try hard when it comes to fashion.

Those pants with those boots just don't go, the top half is okay though.

Heidi and Spencer hosted a New Years party, I wonder how much money they got for that?

Molly Sims looks hot but classy at the same time during New Years. She always rides that fine line so perfectly.

The triple K sisters looked like they had a great New Years, I wonder what lies ahead for these three? They've really grown on us this last year haven't they? We'll maybe not everyone.

This was such a great year for fashion, everyone looked amazing I can't say that there were as many faux pas as I expected.

Praise me! And she should be, there is no doubt Natalie was the best dressed of the year in this Givenchy number. I think she will go down in fashion history, we'll be digging up these classic pictures of her 50 years from now.

The best and worst dresses (/ Outfits) were selected on my random opinion, feel free to chose yours.

Diane Kruger would win for best dressed overall this year on the red carpet.

THE WORST OF 2008

Bai Ling shares the title with Solange Knowles this year for worst dresser and dress. I'm giving Solange some credit though, not every single one of her outfits this year was terrible, it's too bad I can't say the same about Bai. As much as all these ladies have had faux pas, at least they were entertaining.

This Armani Prive number should never see the light of day again.

Coming third in worst dressed this year after Bai and Solange is Phoebe Price.
